New Type Approval Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Wireless LAN Equipment Adopting IEEE 802.11be Technical Standards

  • On June 1, 2023, the State Radio Regulation of China (SRRC) will hold a public consultation on the technical requirements and test procedures for the new type approval of WLAN equipment that adopts the IEEE 802.11be technical standard. 


  • The notice’s objectives are to guide the growth of the wireless LAN business, monitoring the type approval of radio transmitting equipment for wireless LAN equipment, and boosting wireless LAN’s connectivity and sharing with other services such as 5G, Beidou, and V2X.
